Need help with this comic book idea?

Maybe he got the item from his grandfather because his grandfather use to be the previous owner of the item. The item could be ped down from his family line like generations ago. His powers will probably be having the ability to create illusions or have any type of supernatural ability he wants because he could have been a fool who could have read too many comic books or stories (no offense). This girl, the same age as he is will come for his item because it actually belongs to her great ancestor but was stolen long ago. My answer sound so stupid, i hope it helps you a little.
