What did Saudi Arabia have to do with the attacks on kuwait during the gulf war?

Not much, they started ganging up on them with Iraq and Iran, but backed off when the UN came in. Saudi Arabia has nice oil wealth now, and they did then anyway, so I don't think taking over Kuwait needed to be a priority for them.
