I heard Romney speak today to a Detroit Club. What's your opinion of him?

I must admit that until this evening I was not overwhelmed with Mitt; however, after I listened to him speak to the group of Repubs in Detroit I have changed my mind. I listened very attentively (which is not usually the case) and what he said made good sense to me. Of course, some of it was political hype, but essentially he was right on. I am now leaning toward him if he gets the nomination. I believe he is far more literate and intelligent than McCain and perhaps less political. I am neither a Dem or Repub and I try to vote for the right person. Hillary and Obama are playing a stupid game of name calling and this doesn't sit well with me. I would rather have them contest the issues than bash each other regarding race. They have turned off several of my neighbors and I am in line for a big turn off if they don't get back to their stand on issues that are important to Americans.
