Lip gloss problem..?

i bought this skittles party pack lip gloss (lim smacker) for my party. there were a few extras so i kept them, when i tried it on, the top of it was kind of wet......i think it was like melting or something? i dunno, and the lipgloss was unusually soft, if i put it in the fridge will it like harden? i really dont want it to be all wet and melted-ish when i give it to my friends in the goody bag for my bday party. Plz help :I
