Why are people complaining about Obama cutting NASA spending? Can we pay out bills with moon dust?

It really seems like people just want to b*tch and moan about anything Obama does. What the hell are we going to with NASA programs when the economy goes to hell? We don't need moon missions right now. I'm all for space exploration but we DONT HAVE THE MONEY.
