Hi, I'm officially scared. This snake was given to me by my uncle who moved out of his old place. Before he gave the snake to me, it already hadn't eaten for a while..we thought maybe he was shedding, but its been another month, there's very few shed skin patches in the tank and only now are his eyes clouding. He's been making weird noises..his breathing sounds like wheezing sometimes and hes drooling! I'm absolutely scared crap less and I currently have him in a box with yet another mouse and hes resting his head on it, not eating it..The mouse had been frozen before, I thawed it out correctly, dried it even so its scent wasn't slightly clouded by the water for god sakes! Why do i have a hard time keeping my feet in the stirrups riding in a western saddle?

I have ridden english most of my life (been riding for 14 years) and i've never had that issue with english stirrups. I just bought this bran new western show saddle with stirrups that are parrell to the horse and just today I started working on making them face out (with the broom handle idea). But i'm wondering if maybe the stirrups are still too long (I'm 5'2 its a 15 inch saddle and i'm at the last notch), if my leg has issues (it's just the left leg) or if the stirrups not being turned out is the problem. I tried with all my might today to keep my foot in the stirrup and I felt like such a novice rider! Even my horse was getting upset with me. Any ideas? Retainer woes....please help me?

I had my orthodontist adjust my retainer due to my front tooth changing position and sticking up a bit. It looked weird next to my other front tooth so he pushed the wire of my retainer down a bit so it would push onto the tooth and move it back into position. Well, it worked all right, but now the tooth that was elevated a bit is now lower than the other tooth! So basically, it's the opposite way around now. The tooth that was messed up was pushed down TOO MUCH and now the tooth that was perfectly fine is elevated higher. They look misaligned again. Ugh. What can I do? I wear this retainer full-time for 6 months and then back to nights only. Will my teeth re-settle and line up again or is my tooth goin to stay like this? I feel like I can't win...

Water in my gas tank........?

My truck began running horribly a few days ago. It still runs but misses and once in awhile stalls. My dad says this happened due to some ring becoming lose around the gas tank and when it rained water got in. Guess he fixed the ring and added some additives to he gas (he also put in more gas) will this simply fix the problem? I was scared to death of driving over to his house (he lives about 3 miles away). From what I have been reading you need to drain the gas tank first. Just really nervous, him and husband are both working on it, they sound it sounds better but I will need to drive around to let some of the gas burn off? Wouldn't doing that just hurt the engine more? We already replaced the spark plugs and coils so we know its not that. Its a 2001 Ford Ranger 2.5lt 4cyl with about 115,000 miles on it. I can't find the manual of my glucometer, but normally when I take a blood sample from my finger I don't wipe it first with an antiseptic pad. Am I tainting the result of the blood with contaminants it may touch on the surface of my finger, and am I risking an infection by not cleaning area first?

Last year for Chanukah, I got my niece the peek a blocks fill and spill turtle which she still plays with - at the time, she was more into knocking down the blocks (as is my daughter) now she CAN pretty much do everything the toy is meant to do - BUT still prefers to knock the blocks down lol... I have been using Printshop 20 (way outdated I know) for all of my small projects, but now my boss wants me to do her company newsletter and brochure. Why have I gained 6 pounds in one day?

Here is the low down.... Saturday I pushed mowed my acre in the hot sun. Ugh! That night I weighed like I always do and I was down a few pounds (Yay for sweating). Sunday I came off my birth control pill so that Martha Monthly (period) could do her thing (usually arrives on Wednesday). I woke up and weighed myself, 130lbs. This morning (monday), I was 136 pounds!?! WHY??? I've been told water retention but I don't agree. All I do is drink water all day and I drank extra water due to all heat and sun burn I got from mowing. I don't eat salt to be retaining any water either. I eat fresh fruit and veggies, I grill or bake any meat that I eat. I don't get why I have all of a sudden gained this 6 lbs. Can someone help???

Just from my personal experiences, this is true. But everyone has different personal examples. I am a 36 year old guy and all of my grandparents and great grandparents are dead now. It seemed as if none of them feared death at all. When I asked them if they feared dying, they simply said something to the effect of, "Ah, I am not worried about it. I have lived a long life. I am just grateful I have lived this long. Besides, there is no sense in fearing death because you can't control it anyways." That always kind of blew me away as a kid because I always feared dying. You would think that people would fear death more at the end of their life rather than in the beginning because it seems as if the sands of time are flowing downward faster than ever at the end of your life and time is running out. But, just from my experiences, I have found that almost all old folks don't fear dying. Some of them say they don't even think about it. Maybe the older you get, the more you are able to accept things you cannot control. What is your opinion on all of this?

I must admit that until this evening I was not overwhelmed with Mitt; however, after I listened to him speak to the group of Repubs in Detroit I have changed my mind. I listened very attentively (which is not usually the case) and what he said made good sense to me. Of course, some of it was political hype, but essentially he was right on. I am now leaning toward him if he gets the nomination. I believe he is far more literate and intelligent than McCain and perhaps less political. I am neither a Dem or Repub and I try to vote for the right person. Hillary and Obama are playing a stupid game of name calling and this doesn't sit well with me. I would rather have them contest the issues than bash each other regarding race. They have turned off several of my neighbors and I am in line for a big turn off if they don't get back to their stand on issues that are important to Americans.

Wiping a computer and reinstalling OS.?

I have a Dell XPS that's kinda older. I got it for gaming, but it soon turned into a work/gaming computer. I've put pictures/spreadsheets/files that are needed from this computer to an external and now want to wipe the computer and start over just for gaming. I have a Dell DVD that is a reinstall for the OS (MS windows XP media center edition 2005 with Update Rollup 2). Also I have all the drive installation DVD's. Could anyone give me a step by step of how to wipe the computer then re-install the OS. I'm fairly computer illiterate:( Any help would be very appreciated

I recently changed my bedroom a few weeks ago, and I have my bed positioned right under my window, so that my head is directly next to it. We make it a point to pray with our children before bed time. We don't have a rehearsed prayer though, but we will teach our kids the "now I lay me down to sleep" prayer because it's cute and I said it as a kid. It's good to see another parent praying with their children. That's wonderful.

Getting ready for my BFN, how is everyone else holding up?

Hang in there, girl. That's all you can do, right? It's hard, I know. I have been ttc #1 for 15 years. I am about to begin in a few weeks another IVF attempt, this time using an egg donor. The anxiety about my body failing after my DH does his part, and the egg donor doing her part is driving me nuts. I have nightmares every night now, and it's consumed me during the day. To make me even more depressed about my infertility is my DH's cousin gave birth yesterday after complaining her entire time she was pregnant. If only my DH and I could so easily make a baby for FREE while doing the good 'ol fashioned BD. Must be nice, instead of the countless BW pokes, 4 or 5 surgeries I"ve had, a failed IVF attempt, and being told that we must choose an egg donor if we have any hope to conceive a family. So in a nutshell: I am a real depressed basket case right now. And to think: after 15 years of ttc, I thought I had become a real pro at being able to wait and be patient on becoming pregnant. What would cause me to be unable to stand up and walk freely?

For the past two months I have been steadily losing my ability to walk normally. I am scared. My doctor says once I get insurance she will run tests like MRI or CAT SCAN. Well in the meanwhile I was wondering if anyone out there has had this happen to them and what was wrong. It happened rather suddenly. I have had arthritis and diabetes for three years but this is a muscle thing. My muscles are in pain and weak. My husband comes from a large family...12 children. They are into get togethers for everything...showers, holidays, card parties, 2 reunions a year, etc. There is something twice a month. I come from a family where it was just my sister and I and we very seldom got together for anything but Christmas. My husband is very angry with me because I do not wish to attend each and every one of these outings. I am an outdoors person, hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening and there isn't a one of his 6 sisters or sister-in-laws that have any of the same interests. All they want to do is shop. and this is all they seem to want to talk about for hours. It is very boring for me! When I try to have conversation about my life, they all but shut me out. I have only been in this family for 10 years. The card parties are for the men only...women are not allowed, so they sit in the other room and talk for 6-8 hours. I cannot sit that long! I do go to the reunions and some of the weddings, but that is plenty for me. Is it right for my husband to get angry with me for not wanting to go to all of these outings. He says that when I don't go his family thinks we are not getting along. I work a full time job and only have weekends for myself and the things that need to get done around home.I rarely have time to visit my 2 children. We have a blended family, but neither of my children or their family are ever included in any of these get togethers.We do nothing together as a couple alone. I am really sick of arguing over this. My husband will not talk to me for days when I refuse to go. I would really appreciate someone elses thoughts on this. Thanks

maybe the system crashed. then you will need to format your hard drive. Or you can try to log in to safe mode. When you turn it off and on and the computer is booting press F8 key for a few times until you get to menu on a black screen and it will show "safe mode" as one of the options, then you log in to windows. If that does not work, you will need your recovery CD put in and then restart the computer again and run the recovery program.

Irregular Periods, Onset of menopause?

There is this aunt of mine, aged 45.Her problem is that her cycle is pretty irregular. Infact, last two months, she didn't have them. Well,everyone in my cl in Gym tomorrow is going to climb the ropes that my gym teacher was nice enough to take down for us to climb up.Unfortunately,I can't climb the ropes.This is because I have what is called Palmer Hyperhidrosis(it just means my hands sweat more than the average person) so I can't really grip onto many things,like video game controllers like XBox and PS3 and etc.But ESPECIALLY not ropes,I have tried to climb up the ropes before,and I have fallen flat on my back,about 20 feet down .I can't wear gloves or anything,school won't allow it.What can I do during gym instead?(it wasn't mandatory to climb the ropes,but yet everyone wanted to climb them)Please help.

Are we destined just to put up with a mayors behavior, and scandal? The mayor of Albuquerque has been sweeping ual ults under the rug, has hired buddies that were unqualified, and ually harred and abused women who work for this city, instead of cleaning it up he sweeps it under the rug and pays out large settlements to keep things quiet, and then installs red light cameras to pay for all the mess. I dont even work for the city and I know all about what is going on, whats worse the news media here wont dare do a story on Marty Chavez? Why?
